Digital art platform CIRCA, which started taking over the iconic Piccadilly Circus screen for two minutes every day at the end of last year with works by the likes of Ai Weiwei, is back for 2021. The first commissioned artist is punk icon Patti Smith who’ll be doing poetry readings at 8.20pm (or 20.21, geddit?). If you can’t get down to Piccadilly Circus to see the work in person, the artwork is being streamed each night on the CIRCA website.
