CHRISTMAS AT KEW IS BACK FOR 2023

Christmas at Kew tickets are on sale now – here’s what you need to know about this year’s trail

Christmas at Kew is back for its annual takeover of the gardens and, as always, the West London park will be filled with stunning light installations. This year will see the return of plenty of familiar favourites that have formed part of the light trail for the past few years. These include the Christmas Cathedral, Neon Night Garden, Fire Garden and Palm House projections.

But there’ll also be some new additions such as Lili by TILT – a series of abstract, illuminated flowers that stand at almost 3 metres tall – which will be making its UK debut. These will be joined by Spark Ballet, by creative studio Pitaya, made up of 24 lanterns filled with sparkling lights that appear to dance. Another new installation is Trapezoid, which is one of the longest light tunnels to ever feature at Christmas at Kew, and comprises 400 colourful cascading lights hanging from the tree canopy against neon backdrops. And Kew’s Hive will feature in the light trail for the first time.

As you make your way along the route, there’ll be lots of opportunities to grab a bite to eat, whether from food traders or Kew’s Botanical Brasserie. KERB will be setting up a food village toward the east of the route, with traders including Mother Flipper, Kolkati, Only Jerkin, My Pie, Lil Watan and Bar. There’ll also be the chance to book a traditional Christmas dinner at The Botanical Brasserie which includes a three-course meal and a welcome drink for the grown-ups.

Of course, tickets are getting snapped up quickly, so if you want to see Christmas at Kew this year, grab yours below.
