The Choose Love Pop-Up Shop Is Coming Back to London This Winter

And this year it’s going to be the biggest one yet

For the eighth year, humanitarian aid charity Choose Love will be popping up with a shop in the heart of London for the festive season. And for 2024 it’s not just going to be a shop but a ‘festive department store with a difference’. Opening on Regent Street on Fri 29th November, the Choose Love Shop, designed by Misty Buckley and decked out with Choose Love x Wear the Walls collab wallpaper, will be stocked with essential supplies and life-saving interventions for refugees and displaced people around the world – everything from a warm coat to emergency response bundles.

The ‘shoe department’ will feature the A Mile in My Shoes installation from the Empathy Museum, where visitors can connect with the stories of people who have arrived in the UK as an asylum seeker, with an illuminated tent installation by Grace Manning in the ‘shelter department, featuring projections and audio recordings from displaced people. There’ll also be a ‘toiletries department’ and a ‘clothes department’ to highlight the demand for toiletry and warm clothing supplies in the winter, and in the ‘children’s department’, kids will be able to pick a present to send to a child in need.

Shoppers will be able to buy these winter essentials (plus Choose Love wrapping paper and baubles, available for the first time this year), which will be sent out to those in need this winter. Last year, the pop-up was able to raise £850,000 in funds to support Choose Love’s humanitarian work, so if you’re looking for gifts that’ll really make a difference this Christmas, this is the place to go.
