If your goal for 2021 was to eat more pastries – something we thoroughly endorse, we’ve even got a list of the best ones in London for you – then you’ll be pleased to know that a brand new bakery with brand new treats is coming to Belgravia. Chestnut Bakery will be a community bakery, so as well as selling a whole range of breads and pastries, they’ll also be giving back to the local area.
The menu is still being worked on by community baker Kevan Roberts and the rest of the Chestnut team but we’ve spotted eclairs, poppyseed & lemon curd and gruyere & za’atar croissants, salted peanut cookies, and mille-feuilles on their Instagram so we’ve got high hopes. And though the Belgravia bakery isn’t even open yet, the team already has plans to open another spot in Oxford Circus in April.
