On, who spent most of last year at the Dead Dolls House in Hoxton Square, are now cooking at The Cat and Mutton for the month of June. With more casual bar food available in the pub downstairs, the upstairs dining room has a full menu which we love the sound of, with dishes such as the ‘Check On Black Pudding with Duck Egg and Brown Sauce’, ‘Grilled Moyallon Bacon Chop with Rhubarb Sauce’; and Check On’s signature dessert of ‘eggs and soldiers’ – vanilla cream with mango and shortbread served in an egg box.
