colder than Shackleton’s shins out there right now, but thankfully Cheatahs are here to ward off the face nipping frost with some shimmering, sunshiney sounds. ‘Sunne’, the first track to be shared online ahead of their full EP launch in February, pulses with sun-bleached promises of warmer, more welcoming times. The looped, tape-worn guitar sound melts in an and out like a tidal flow and really gives the track a pleasantly baked at the beach feel.

It won’t stand in place of a broken boiler, but it’s certainly a welcome sonic basting on these freezing night – and you can bask in the warm for real when they play Power Lunches on February 24th.
