Ahead of the release of their thirteenth album Different Days at the end of the month, The Charlatans have shared the video for their latest single ‘Plastic Machinery’, featuring Johnny Marr. The vid was shot in Barcelona by Ewen Spencer and generally sees the band having a great old time in the Spanish sun. As Tim burgess explained, “Barcelona is such a beautiful city – the song is about finding beauty in uncertain times and we knew there’d be some sunshine there too.” The Charlatans are hitting the festival circuit this summer and have announced a full UK tour with a show at Brixton Academy in December, so you’ll have plenty of chances to catch them live too.
