CHAMELEON TO OPEN IN MARYLEBONE
Events space One Marylebone is getting a massive makeover courtesy of Alex Ghalleb (ex-Soho House and Gold) who’s turning it into Chameleon. The main element of the new venture will be a restaurant that spans nine outdoor greenhouses and is headed up by Israeli chef Elior Balbul. The menu will feature dishes like Yemen brioche challah, aubergine carpaccio, shrimp shish barak, and grilled lamb sirloin with cabbage gratin. The greenhouses will be different sizes and all look slightly different, with the decor also changing with the seasons.
The garden space will also be home to a tented lounge with private booths as well as hosting silent cinema nights, with a flower market pitching up in the Chameleon courtyard. And in terms of the inside of the building, there’ll be a gallery and a studio space to host immersive wellness and fitness sessions, with a private members club planned for the summer too. Yep you won’t be getting bored here.
