This May, Alexandra Palace will be turning a monumental 150, so they’re pulling out all the stops to celebrate with a day full of live music, entertainment and street food. At various stages throughout the 196 acre park, there’ll be sets from the likes of Mel Blatt of All Saints and Hoxton Radio, live performances from local talent, silent discos and family raves. Meanwhile, inside the Victorian Theatre, there’ll be screenings of Matilda the Musical and The Death of Stalin. Just because it’s May doesn’t mean it’s too late to ice skate, so head to the rink to see demonstrations from Synchronised ice dancing and Ice Hockey teams and to skate for yourself.
And if all that’s got you feeling hungry, head to Ally Pally’s own street food and craft beer festival StrEATlife to grab a bite to eat from Rack City Ribs, Rum and Buns or The Duck Shed and have a drink at the pop-up bars from Goodness Brewery, Cargo House coffees and Dash Concept.
