They’ve already got Shoreditch House in the area and now Soho House is opening another spot just around the corner. Redchurch Townhouse will be a 37-room boutique hotel and restaurant (like Dean Street Townhouse and Kettner’s Townhouse) and it’ll have a Cecconi’s on the ground floor. The food will be similar to the Mayfair Cecconi’s, so expect Cicchetti, pizza and classics like lobster spaghetti and veal Milanese, but the vibe will be more relaxed – this is Shoreditch after all.
The townhouse itself will be open to all (so no need to be a member) with the rooms all inspired by 1950s – 1970s design…think retro chandeliers, mid-century armchairs and floor-to-ceiling windows. It’s also gonna celebrate the local area with a 40 under 40 art collection, featuring pieces from 40 (mostly East London based) artists under the age of 40.
