The Experimental Cocktail Club’s members-only Chess Club didn’t last very long, but it looks like another Paris import will be taking its place. Caviar Kaspia, which was launched in 1927 will be opening in the Mayfair spot in April 2019.
Unsurprisingly, the menu is going to be caviar-heavy, with dishes including poached eggs with beluga caviar and baked potato with caviar and sour cream, but there’ll also be a whole selection of crab and smoked fish available to try as well as some brand new dishes created especially for the new site. Expect the interiors to be as lavish as the food too. Caviar Kaspia is slated to open next spring, and we’ll bring you more updates when we have them.
