We’re not going to lie we’re sick of all the Jubilee tedious links and as much as we’d like to just wait for it to pass sometimes a event comes along which looks pretty good. Plus for all we know our readers could all be dies hard Queen fans, that’s her majesty not Bohemian rhapsody!
The latest event to hit our inbox is the Carnaby Jubilee Party which will take place on Carnaby Street on Saturday 2nd June between 12 noon and 4pm. Not only will there be free cake (cut at 3pm) for all to enjoy baked by ChoccyWoccydoodah shoppers will also find live music, jive dancing and complimentary cocktails and strawberries and cream – ooooh I say!
The shops are also getting involved with varies raffles, discounts and give-aways. There is a pop-up exhibition of photographs of the Royal Family and the street will be decorated with a mass of tacky bunting and flags. If this sounds like fun to you then head on down, score yourself some freebies and do some shopping…we’d recommend saving the free cocktails until after you have shopped, we’d hate to see you going home with a Union Jack number a’la Geri Halliwell!
