British Land’s Love Summer pop-up is back for another season of fun
Canada Water is one of the most exciting and sustainable new neighbourhoods in London; as well as plenty of new workspaces, retail and leisure venues on the way, and new net-zero homes, the area is filled with open spaces, woodlands and water. One such space is at the Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, which is playing host to the Love Summer pop-up for another year.
Running throughout August, the pop-up, which features a clubhouse-style base and awnings to provide weather coverage, has got fun for all the family. You can get stuck in with art classes led by local artist Rod, mini garden-making workshops, and a drop-in petting zoo from Surrey Docks Farm – or indulge in a little friendly competition with the giant garden games and table tennis.
If spectating is more your speed, you can watch movies like Kung Fu Panda, Sing and Battle of the Sexes and listen to live music from the comfort of a deckchair.
