Good news for anyone partial to an aperitivo: Campari’s Negroni Month returns this September, with a line-up of takeovers and deals across London. What began as a single Negroni Week – launched back in 2013 – proved so popular that venues began extending it into a full month, and for that we are grateful.
The star of this year’s edition is The Dirty Negroni, created in partnership with cultural icon Perelló. Riding the wave for all things savoury and “swicy,” it laces the classic aperitivo with Perelló olive brine for a saltier, umami-forward twist that takes centre stage all month. Here’s everything worth planning your calendar around.

The Negroni Lounges
Six dedicated lounges across London are hosting DJ sets, tastings and Perelló offers all month:
- Bar Brasso (Nine Elms) – Hosts the official Campari & Perelló Aperitivo Day Party on 19th September (2pm–12am), with a headline DJ set from Owen Cutts, complimentary bites by Robin Gill of Darby’s and merch giveaways. Grab your tickets.
- Lardo (Hackney) – Transforms its next-door space Bastardo into a Campari-red lounge, with Soft Landing Sundays soundtracked by Next Door Records, aperitivo quizzes and Negroni & Nibbles masterclasses. Book here.
- Equal Parts (Hackney) – Mexico City’s retro Milanese lounge Bar Mauro (#54 on the World’s 50 Best Bars) takes over on 20th–21st September. Every Wednesday, when you purchase a Campari drink they come paired with complimentary Auguste snacks, with £1 per drink donated to Hackney Food Bank.
- Café 1001 (Brick Lane) – £5 Negronis all month, plus Saturday DJ line-ups featuring Nina Yamada, Alexander Nut, Zaffa, miche and more.
- Next Door Records Two (Stoke Newington) – £8 Negronis with custom Lardo bar snacks and weekly Saturday DJ sessions.
- The Shaston Arms (Soho) – £5 Negronis with free Perelló olives every Sunday, plus a closing DJ party on 27th September.
Fancy making a proper crawl of it? Pick up a Negroni Passport and collect a stamp at each of the six lounges – Lardo, Equal Parts, Café 1001, Next Door Records Two, The Shaston Arms and Bar Brasso. Get all six and your final stop rewards you with a free sixth Negroni to finish. GOAL.
The Negroni With a Twist
- Fatto A Mano – The Queen Negroni (7th Sept–18th Oct), a Margherita-pizza-flavoured serve made with olive-oil-washed gin, sweet vermouth, Campari, fresh basil and upcycled Vesuvius tomato water.
- Dirty Negroni menus – the Perelló olive-brine serve also pops up at Rita’s Soho, Bloodsports, Polpo and Sophie’s Soho.
- The Alchemist Monument Negroni Bar – On 24th September, enjoy a pair of very different Negroni serves soundtracked by back-to-back sets from two DJs with completely distinct sounds. There’ll also be a fortune teller for those feeling brave.
- Satan’s Whiskers – (#21 World’s 50 Best Bars) hosts Moebius (Milan, #7 World’s 50 Best Bars) for a two-day residency on Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd, with Moebius bringing along their Michelin-starred snacks. Every drink from the exclusive Campari Negroni Week menu comes with your choice of snack, free of charge.
The Free Drinks
- Young’s – claim a free Negroni through the Young’s On Tap app at participating pubs, with eighteen sites running a five-twist menu spanning Stonefruit to Coffee & Chocolat, available 22nd-29th September.
- The Evolv Collection – app members get a complimentary Negroni plus daily 5–7pm happy hours across Coq d’Argent, Quaglino’s, Sartoria and Vinoteca.
It all wraps up on Sunday 27th September – so consider this your cue to go out and get dirty. If you can’t get to a venue this Negroni Month, discover the Dirty Negroni recipe and others here.
Please drink responsibly.
