Festival
season is nearly upon us…yey! The first Camden Create festival kicks off this May, but it’s a little different from what you’d think. Camden Create is all about putting Camden back on the map as an exciting and creative hub of activity for businesses and brands. The three day event takes over some of the most iconic buildings in the borough such as Proud, The Hawley Arms and of course The Roundhouse. To encourage companies and start up businesses to set up shop here, the Camden Create Festival are showing the town off in style with a series of workshops, talks and events with special guests including Alex Proud of the infamous galleries and fashion designer Wayne Hemmingway.
It’s not all just work though, this lot will also be showcasing Camden as the playground it is. There is plenty to show of with the notorious music scene and some of London’s best loved venues, the boutique, vintage, high street and designer fashion shops and stalls that can be found. Not to mention the restaurants, market stalls, stables, walking tours, pubs, clubs and cruises down Regents Canal.
A day ticket will cost you £20, luckily we’ve managed to find 5 pairs of tickets to give away. All you have to do is hit us up on Twitter or Facebook with the following ‘Well doesn’t this look bloody great, put me down for @CamdenCreate @londontheinside’. We will pick a winner at random and notify. This competition ends at noon on Friday 9th May.
Sounds live Camden is the place to work, live and play right. To find out the full programme of activity see here.
