The super sexy Punch Room at the equally sexy London Edition Hotel is already one of our favourite places in the city to cosy up with a cocktail. All sleek oak panels and chesterfield-style banquettes, it has the feel of an old-school private club and even has an open fireplace – definitely the seats to bag if you can!
As the name suggests, they’re all about the punch here – beautifully boozy concoctions such as the gin-infused EDITION punch with jasmine tea and oak moss. If you fancy trying something a little different, however, look out for for the new BYOB nights which will take place one a month on Sunday evenings. The premise is simple: rock up with a bottle of your chosen tipple and the talented bar folk will make a delicious custom punch just for you. Your punch will also include the month’s featured spirit and whatever takes the bar team’s fancy at the time, meaning you’re guaranteed something completely original!
With a live jazz trio playing soothing sounds too, it’s a damn fine way to spend a Sunday in our book.
