The Ploussard and Other Side Fried founders are now in the burger game
After winning over south Londoners with their Battersea wine bar Ploussard, Matt Harris and Tommy Kempton have decided to launch a brand new concept in Brixton and this one’s all about burgers. Buster’s, now open on Atlantic Road (where Other Side Fried, now operating as a delivery brand, used to be), takes design cues from Ploussard – we’re talking wood panelling and neutral tones – but puts juicy burgers front and centre.
All Buster’s burgers feature wagyu beef patties, cooked medium and served in a buttered potato roll, with toppings like green peppercorn dijonaise (on the hamburger), cheese and green peppercorn dijonaise (on the cheeseburger) or buster sauce (on the Buster burger). There’s also wagyu fat aioli and IPA cheese sauce to dip your fries into, a chocolate mousse for pudding, and picantes, Pet Nat and beers on the drinks list.
