was the last time you spared a thought for the talented sign-painters of this world – the renegades who turn their back on the computer age and use what God gave them to create signage for your viewing pleasure? Can’t remember? Well lucky for you there’s a new show to help change that. ‘Business as Usual’ brings together some of today’s finest sign-painters to champion an art form that often gets overlooked in favour of its digitalised, Photoshopped cousin.

Each of the artists involved, including Dapper Signs, Letterknight and Lord Dunsby to name a few, have spent the past few months creating tongue-in-cheek works based on fictitious businesses using anything they can get their hands on, from metal, wood and glass to and gold leaf and enamel.

The exhibition promises to be a carnival of the disorderly so if you fancy a bit of hand-painted chaos, simply follow the signs.
