– doing some “Rob”in no doubt!

It’s no secret LondOntheInside are big fans of Thai food and big fans of Busaba Eathai. We checked into the newest branch of the London based chain to see what was on offer. Like the other Busabas the Old Street outlet offers communal tables and seats at the windows looking out on to the street. We even spotted Batman flitting past, but then this is Shoreditch.

To eat we went with the Som Tam Papaya Salad, Goong tohd prawns, Char-grilled rib-eye beef and the Sen chan pad Thai with crab meat. For us the winner was the papaya salad, crunchy and sweet but with a really chilli kick to it. This has got to be a strong contender for the best papaya salad in London. The Sen chan pad Thai was another great dish, a little skimpy on the crab meat but the noodles were fresh and tasty, so no real complaint!

The only grumble we did have was that the steak was too fatty so perhaps stick to the more traditional Thai food, it’s what they do and it’s what they do good.

If you’re looking for a cheap Thai meal in London check it out, plus the Old Street branch is huge which means none of the Soho queues =  BONUS!
