Venezuelan chef PatXi Andres started slinging “tastiest, most dirty” burritos in town during the second lockdown when he started street food concept Burritos Machete. He’s not scared of blending cultures and cuisines, creating fillings like kimchi fried rice and rabbit birria, and now he’s back at it for 2022, with another epic mash-up. For his next pop-up at Hackney Bridge, Burritos Machete is teaming up with South Asian food brand Tamila, and we’re being promised curry tamales, bur-rotis, and rum mango lassis. Errrr YES PLEASE.
