Night is approaching and here at London on the Inside we love any excuse to get our tart on…what do you mean it’s spelt tartan! right…ok that explains a lot. Either way, the lads and lassies from Mussell Men, Cast Iron Kitchen and Love Fish are teaming up to create their very own Burns Night Hootenany, and you can bet it’s going to be a right Céilidh shindig.

Setting up in a warehouse in Hackney, you’ll be treated to the traditional haggis, neeps n’ tatties as well as the best in Scottish chowder and cranachan, all served street food style. Just how we like it. There will be a raucus Scottish Ceilidh rock band and Granny Mac’s dance school to teach you a few reels as well as highland games Hosted by Captain McBob and his terrible Trio.

All those activities are bound to make you thirsty so lucky there’ll also be a well-stocked bar and mobile whisky cocktail wagon to make sure you’re merry as can be.

We’ll be donning our kilt on the 25th and the only way to find out what’s underneath is to come along! Tickets are £35 and available from here.
