With its haggis-eating and whisky-drinking Burns Night is one of the biggest dates in the Scottish calendar, as well as being the perfect reason to blow off any booze-less January diets you might still be clinging on to. Whether you’re after a few drams or you’re on the hunt for haggis, we’ve got the best of Burns Night for all you London lads and lassies.

Visions Canteen Takeover at Hawksmoor

There’ll be no poetry, no haggis and no kilts at Hawksmoor Spitalfields Bar this Burns Night but with Visions Canteen and Craigellachie Single Malt Scotch in the house, there will be lots of food, lots of booze and lots of music courtesy of DJ Martelo. The scran from Visions includes a fish supper sando (with fried cod, Sichuan potato noodles and XO mayo), bacon fries with pineapple ketchup and mini Kilmarnock-style steak pies, with Craigellachie pouring whisky cocktails like Hawkeyethenoo (Craigellachie 13y.o., jalapeño, salted pineapple soda) and Nine Inch Nail (Craigellachie 13y.o., Edinburgh Amaro, rosehip).
