Street food fave Burger & Beyond, a popular fixture at KERB and Street Feast, is going permanent with a bricks-and-mortar restaurant in Shoreditch. Excellent news, as these guys are undoubtedly one of the best burgers in London.
The place will be very east London with lots of industrial touches like raw steel, stone, brick and a concrete bar. Naturally their signature aged beef burgers will take centre stage, but there’s also brand new buns like the Krispie Fried Chicken (Rice Krispie fried chicken, miso maple butter and ranch pickle slaw) and Mushroom Raclette (panko crusted mushroom patty, melted raclette, caramelised onion and smoked garlic mayo) joining the line-up.
The expanded menu will also include snacks and small plates like chicken skin and bread with bone marrow butter; lamb nuggets with burnt onion dip; mushrooms and cured egg yolk with lardo on toast; and truffle tots. And in case that didn’t sound quite tasty enough, they’ll be doing deep fried blueberry pie with clotted cream ice cream for dessert. Bring it on.
