Caterer announced that budget hotel brand Travelodge are building a further 35 hotels in the UK this year. Holy, Moly! But that’s not all 8 of those hotels will be located in London, 3 of which will open this spring, making the Travelodge the largest single brand in the capital.

The new hotels will bring the number of Travelodges to 495 – Which means if you really wanted to you could stay in a Travelodge every night of the year and never stay in the same one twice. Imagine that!

There are three hotels planned for Birmingham, two for Manchester, and others in Cardiff, Liverpool, Bristol, Lancaster, Canterbury, Cambridge and Hull. The costal locations of Morecambe, Paignton, Ramsgate, Portishead and New Brighton will also be added to the big Travelodge take over.
