BUBALA TO LAUNCH DELIVERY-ONLY CONCEPT BUBIE

Bubala, the veggie Middle Eastern joint in Spitalfields which serves THAT halloumi, has given birth to little sister brand. Bubie is a spin-off delivery-only concept from the restaurant and it’s launching in Kentish Town this December. Sandwiches made from Iraqi Laffa bread will be at the heart of the menu, with fillings including Yemeni falafel with aubergine, pickled red cabbage & toum and mushroom shawarma with salad, amba & tahini. And if you’re off the bread, you can have all the sarnies as salad bowls instead with a side of caramelised onion rice. NICE.

There’ll also be sides like pickles, mini latkes, onion rice, chopped salad and falafel with tahini available to order alongside Something & Nothing seltzers. You’ll be able order Bubie from Deliveroo if you’re within a 2-mile radius of the Kentish Town kitchen – and if that isn’t you, don’t worry because more kitchens are planned to open across town next year.

Launches Thurs 10th December 2020
