Calling all Whisky lovers, there’s a storm brewing on the South Bank – no change there then we hear you cry, well actually there is it’s a whisky storm. That’s right you heard correct a whisky storm. Talisker Storm whisky is creating an interactive storm on the Southbank where for three hours you can take on the elements of wind, rain, lightning, fog and thunder within the 25ft high installation, created to showcase the tempestuous weather of the distillery’s home in Skye.
Rain macs and umbrellas are provided and a complimentary glass of Talisker’s whisky will warm you up after the ordeal. There is also the chance to be crowned “storm challenge champion” which wins you a bottle of the gold stuff. It would be fair to say your chances of winning are pretty high considering the practice that has been put in with the weather conditions of late. Get down to the Southbank and experience the fun, for there is a storm a’comin…
