Indian BBQ spot Brigadiers has had a bit of a re-jig, and as well as running a click & collect and delivery service, it’s launched its own Daru Shop, inspired by the side-of-the-road liquor stores found across India. The retro shop, which has been set up in the restaurant’s reception area, is stocked with bottled booze including beers, wine and batched cocktails like the Daru Old Fashioned. A selection of Brigadiers’ whisky list is also available and there are vending machines dispensing craft beer and canned cocktails.
You’ll also be able to get bevs and food to-go too. The takeaway hatch is serving pints, wine and cocktails like the Chilli Mango Margarita Slushie, with a snacks menu featuring fresh Alphonso mangoes, kathi rolls, masala pork scratchings and the brand-new Naanza. Yes that’s an naan-pizza hybrid, which has a tandoor-baked base and a rotating selection of toppings, and is available by the slice.
