bridget jones’s diary with live orchestra

Bridget Jones’s Diary, which is still as watchable as ever despite being repeated on the reg, is the latest film to tour the country with a live orchestra, stopping by the Apollo Victoria Theatre in November. A 60-piece orchestra will play the score, composed by Patrick Doyle, to accompany a HD screening of the film. Based on the novel by Helen Fielding, the film follows Renée Zellweger’s Bridget as she tries to navigate her love life and career, and is full of iconic musical numbers like ‘All By Myself’ and ‘Respect’, which are just going to sound mega when performed by an orchestra. It’s a little way off yet but tickets are on sale right now if you wanna get your seats booked early doors.
