After the success of the Clerkenwell site, Breddos have announced the opening of a brand new taqueria on Kingly Street and we couldn’t be more excited. The new site is more than double the size of the original and includes a basement Mezcal and Margarita bar. When it comes to the food you can expect to find all the classics alongside some brand new dishes, including bone marrow nachos with dripping bread and wood grilled whole octopus with mole amarillo. There will also be a family style menu and a specially designed pizza oven used to make tlayudas (Mexican pizzas) – that pea and broad bean tlayuda with chicken skin, black garlic, pecorino and preserved lemon is sure to be a winner.
And if that wasn’t enough food for you, they will also be serving up a breakfast menu, including cinnamon churro French toast and confit pork memelas with black beans, scrambled egg and grasshoppers. Oh and a bangin’ dessert menu of ice cream tacos, ice cream churro sandwiches and Breddos’ infamous leche frita. Yes, it’s time to loosen those trousers as you’re gonna want to order ALL the food at Breddos 2.0. And if you get down there on the 7th, 9th and 10th October you’ll get 50% OFF food. WINNING.
