Seattle – Tokyo based designer Nin Truong founded Maiden Noir in 2006. Inspired by the natural Pacific Northwest surroundings, Maiden Noir started off with menswear and debuted their womenswear AW16 line earlier this year. With a focus on a meticulous attention to detail, sourcing premium Japanese fabrics and the highest standards of production in Japan, each collection tells a story and tends to juxtapose the relationship between nature and the man-made; taking their apparel to a whole new level. Using a natural palette, colours range from stone grey and forest green to denim blue.
Taking things back to basics Maiden Noir produces minimal collections that mix constructed pieces with more oversized garments. It’s versatile, timeless and gets a big thumbs up from us.
