BRAND TALK: GENERAL EYEWEAR

brand talk

General Eyewear is anything but general. The frame workshop and design studio based in Camden Town boasts over 56,000 vintage frames. With original frames from the 60s, 70s & 80s from the likes Moschino, Christian Lacroix and Versace, this place just oozes cool. But not only do they stock vintage frames, General Eyewear also deconstruct classic frames to add subtle twists; reinventing bespoke eyewear. As well as selling their own handmade range inspired by the vintage designs.

Craft meets creativity for General Eyewear, with every frame being handcarved to create a unique and individual pair of specs. And if you don’t believe us, they spend plenty of time suppling fashion editors and the film industry. With vintage prices starting at £225 and bespoke at £450, it’s a lot cheaper than their competitors and for completely original, total one-off glasses that will last for years to come – it’s definitely worth it.
