We’ve seen a lot of businesses pivot their offering during lockdown but this one is a first; specialist car showroom Hexagon Classics has teamed up with wine expert Bert Blaize and opened a wine shop and deli next to the dealership. The two-floor Bottles ‘n’ Jars is stocked with hundreds of wines, ranging from funky new varieties to classic bottles, as well as vermouth, grappa and other fine spirits.
As well as that extensive selection of booze, there’s also a large deli offering including small-batch olive oils, vinegars, pasta, flour, fresh bread, coffee from Notes, cheeses from Wine & Rind and other European artisan ingredients, plus hampers and gifts for Christmas. Once lockdown restrictions are eased, the space will also host masterclasses, talks and tastings so it’s a good spot for all you North London peeps to have on your radar.
