RITA’S TO OPEN IN SOHO

After lockdown forced Missy Flynn and Gabe Pryce to close their sarnie shop in Coal Drops Yard, the pair didn’t wait too long to make their comeback by opening a new Bodega Rita’s in Clerkenwell and by taking on a site in Soho and turning it into a pop-up Bodega Rita’s bottle shop. Now it’s turning into a proper Rita’s restaurant with dishes inspired by the pair’s travels across the Americas.

The menu will include the likes of jalapeno popper gildas, hot bean devilled eggs, barbecued beef tartare with garlic & raw vegetables, salt cod taquitos, a vegan cacio e pepe, grilled sugar pit pork collar, whole fish a la plancha, steak dinner for two with all the trimmings, and key lime pie. All of that will be joined by low intervention wines from suppliers including Dynamic Wines, Ancestral Wines and Modal Wines, plus twists on classic cocktails like the Fresh Start, the Rita’s take on a margarita made with sansho pepper infused Tapatio tequila. It’s been a long wait for the follow-up to the East London Rita’s and we can’t wait to have them back again.

Opens Weds 20th October 2021
