been quite a week for Bloc Party news with their Octopus single coming out on the 13th of this month and the streaming of their new track ‘Day Four’ and now we can tell you that on Wedensday, August 8th, Bloc Party will be playing a special live performance at New York’s Terminal 5, which will be broadcast live worldwide in HD via The Bowery Presents Live channel on YouTube. The performance will air at 2:30 AM UK time, and fans are invited to tune in here to watch the show and participate in an interactive live chat during it. Wowzza!

The band hit the road in the UK with a string of dates in October with support coming from Theme Park.
