Bleecker Is Opening a Burger Joint in Soho

It’s the brand’s eighth site

Bleecker only opened its most recent location on Baker Street a few months back but the expansion is continuing this summer with a new site in Soho. The space will feature original artwork by London-based artist Ashton Attzs, whose work champions joy and community.

Like at all other Bleecker locations, the Soho joint will serve up award-winning burgers made with 40-day dry-aged native British beef sourced from regenerative farms; House Fries and Angry Fries; and house-made shakes, including the new seasonal Strawberry Shake. A portion of sales from the Cherry Shake will be donated to Mermaids, the charity supporting trans, non-binary and gender diverse young people.

Opening in Soho, in the heart of the city’s LGBTQ+ community is a milestone for Bleecker founder Zan Kaufman, who said: “Opening on Old Compton Street is a full-circle moment for me. Long before I ever came to London, I knew about Soho — its energy, its history, its role as a haven for LGBTQ+ people. When I arrived, it became the place where I first discovered a vibrant LGBTQ+ community that I could be a part of, from lunches at First Out, to beers at Vespa, to dancing away at Ghetto or G-A-Y bar. I met my wife just around the corner. This neighbourhood shaped who I am, and now Bleecker gets to be part of it.

“Old Compton Street is more than just a location. It’s a place of unity, pride, and passion — all the things Bleecker stands for. We can’t wait to open our doors this summer.”

The doors to the Soho location open at 11am on Fri 4th July and the first 25 customers will bag a limited-edition Bleecker t-shirt, so get down there early if you want one.
