teasing the track via Tyson’s Twitter account (Mr T got nothing on me)…The Black Keys have now released Turn Blue, taken from their forthcoming eighth studio album, due for release May 12th. And the band have taken a decidedly different direction in their musical stance this time around. The track is sub zero chilled in comparison to their normal big rock n rolling tunes…wouldn’t be out of place in a Tarantino-esque style movie.

Auerbach and Carney are on fine form, with production courtesy of Dangermouse, so we’re pretty sure the new LP will deliver more classic Keys tracks. ‘Turn Blue’ may divide opinion amongst stalwart BK fans, but after El Camino’s massive success, musical evolution might be their key to further victory.
