A taste of Italy is landing in the UK thanks to Birrificio Angelo Poretti, which is running its ‘La Grande Tavola’ series across three locations this summer. Each event will see beautifully styled long tables set up to host guests for an Italian-inspired feast paired with Poretti beers. As well as dates in Cornwall (with food from Simon Stallard) and Manchester (for the city’s Festa Italiana, with food from Salvi’s), La Grande Tavola will be popping up at the Museum of the Home in Shoreditch on 30th July, with a three-course menu from MOB’s Jordon Ezra King.
There’ll be three sittings, each seating up to 100 people on the long table, where you’ll be able to tuck into stracciatella with charred courgettes, dill salad and almond & parsley gremolata; yellow marinara, tomato ndjua and salsiccia e friarielli pizzas; and cannolis, with carafes of Poretti on the tables. Tickets cost £29.99 and you can book for each of the three sessions below.
