you’re struggling to find a decent place to watch the Olympic events then look no further, Hackney Council are shoving up a massive screen in Haggerston Park.

The Big Screen at Haggerston will run throughout the whole sporting event starting up each day at 11.30am. And if after you’re left thinking “I’m quicker than Usain Bolt”, then why not give it a go at the 2012 Sports Zone! You can get involved in a range of sports from athletics, cricket and football, to aerobics, dance and wheelchair sports. The weekday program runs from 12 noon to 4pm and the weekend running until 8pm. Oh yeah, by the way this is all free!

Take a picnic and you’re all sorted.
