We may not be able to sit inside their totally OTT restaurants but we can still get a taste of Big Mamma as the restaurant group is launching a click & collect service, from both Gloria and Circolo Popolare. There’s everything from DIY pasta kits to grocery items like parma ham, parmesan, olive oil, flour and wines.
There’ll be a range of takeaway dishes on offer too, including pizzas, burrata with pesto heart, THAT layered Lasagna, gnocchi cacio e pepe, and puds like the Tigramisù and XXL Cookies. You order any time, but collection currently only runs in the evenings, though they are looking to expand this (and we hear they’re working on delivery too). Go down, collect your goods and get a selfie outside whilst doing so (top tip Gloria has the best frontage)…we won’t judge you.
