The major chains may have just launched their own vegan dishes but with its signature crispy fried jackfruit, Biff’s Jack Shack has been doing vegan fast food since 2017. So forget Burger King trolling Maccy D’s, Biff’s is now trolling all the big boys with its new specials menu at BrewDog in Dalston. Each of the four specials will take inspo from some fast food classics and will be available for one week only, with the most popular one making it onto the main menu.
Here’s how they stack up…
10th – 16th January | Biff’s Slinger Tower Burger
This £8.50 bun features Biff’s signature patty topped with a hash brown, American cheeze, lettuce, mayo and spicy salsa in a toasted brioche bun.
17th – 23rd January | Crispy Fried Nugz
These panko crumb-coated jackfruit nugz, served with either a sweet katsu or sticky bourbon BBQ sauce, come in three sizes – six for £6, nine for £8 or 20 for £16.
24th – 29th January | The Big Big Jack
It’s the classic Big Jack, just doubled up….that’s a double-decker made from two crispy jackfruit patties, burger sauce, American cheeze, dill pickles, onion, lettuce and tomato, and it’s £10.50
30th January – 6th February | Bangin’ Bucket Meal
This £19.95 bucket contains six CFJ wingz, complete with sugar cane bone, topped with bourbon BBQ or buffalo hot sauce; large cajun-dusted fries; mustard mayo slaw; and homemade porcini gravy.
