Isn’t it great when you buy something which helps others? And it’s even better when the thing you buy looks amazing. Betty & Betts are two Brit girls who met in South India. They were competing in an egg race, and although neither of them won, they became the best of friends and quickly realised they were both completely bonkers…about sustainability.
It was there journey together throughout India that saw them work with the locals on various charity programmes. The poverty they seen utterly shocked them and they knew that they had to help. Inspired by the amazing people they met on the way the girls set up an honest fairtrade business between the locals, and the rest of the world. It was beautifully crafted leather goods they set on and Betty & Betts was born.

As always the collection is 100% eco & 100% ethical. Classic colours are updated with electric pops of emerald, plum and cognac. A palette very much inspired the Earth’s natural gems and David Hockney’s idyllic Yorkshire landscapes.

The two friends have come so far from that first egg race and their aim is to form a Betty & Betts foundation to advance the social impact of their work. You can help by buying one of the fab pieces. Using the profits, the communities in India have benefited from an orphanage for physically and mentally handicapped young boys. This alone has made such an impact and the Betty’s cannot wait to help others.
