Yep ANOTHER restaurant has opened in Newington Green…this one’s called Bergen House and whilst deets are a bit thin on the ground, we can tell you that the menu is a mix of small plates and sharing dishes with crowdpleasers like steak and fries, beef wellington, scotch egg with mustard mayo and harissa chicken burger all there, accompanied by a short wine list. The website says it’s a “champion of quality food and booze, sourcing products from the best suppliers available”, there’s a Sunday roast on offer but interestingly no mention of brunch… What will the neighbours think?!
