Always wanted to be a prima ballerina? Now’s your chance, minus the pink tutu, thanks to BLOK’s ballet technique workshop in Clapton. Run by Georgia, the two-hour class focuses on developing strength, flexibility and co-ordination using classical ballet techniques with a modern twist, including that all important barre work, and ending with a routine enchaînment worthy of any prima ballerina. You’ll learn to execute a plié, arabesque and pirouette with proper technique and flair, all to a soundtrack of rhythmic contemporary music.
