Everyone likes Banana Bread, and if someone tries to tell you otherwise, don’t trust them. The same goes for this new track from beat-fiends Beaty Heart. It’s a joyous affair that jingles and jangles and we reckon it was probably the music that was playing when you were happily floating around in your mother’s womb.
Think of them as London’s very own Animal Collective, AKA slightly mental. Banana Bread is the opener from new album ‘Mixed Blessings’ which has been described as “a fruity fresh array of colour adorned with the possessions they choose to surround themselves with”, so we can’t wait to hear what other sweet treats the trio have up their sleeves.
Not only is their sound a bit off the wall, but we’ve heard things can get a bit crazy on stage too so go check them out live next month all around the UK when they’ll be joined by support act Kishi Bashi.
