American tradition of Thanksgiving falls on the last Thursday in November, which mean it’s just around the corner. If you’re looking for somewhere to celebrate what has become affectionately known as ‘Turkey Day’, then fancy bakery Bea’s of Bloomsbury may just be able to help.

At their Maltby Street Market branch on Druid Street, near London Bridge, they will be hosting three Thanksgiving dinners this week from Thursday 22nd until Saturday 24th at 7pm, plus a Thanksgiving lunch on Sunday 25th at midday. The meal is a traditional Thanksgiving roast with all the trimmings; turkey with sausage stuffing, veg, mash, sweet potato casserole with marshmallow(!) and pumpkin pie for dessert. Because let’s face it turkey shouldn’t be just for Christmas.

Thanksgiving is a family affair with relatives getting together to share the experience, and in this spirit, the meal will be big portions served around big tables with lots of friends, old and new. Tickets including the meal and soft drinks cost £50 in advance with a cash bar available on the night. There’s also the option for ‘all-you-can-drink’ for a £20 supplement which sounds like a deal to us! Tickets are available online.
