This Friday, Bear Grylls will be in conversation with Charlie Mayhew, the CEO of African conservation charity Tusk, to raise money for their work in protecting the continent’s native species. Grylls is an ambassador for Tusk, an organisation which has not only helped to preserve more than 40 different threatened species but also contributed to poverty reduction in rural communities living alongside wildlife over the past 30 years.
For one uplifting evening, Grylls will share stories from his remarkable adventures, including climbing Everest, his time with 21 SAS and his TV show Running Wild, which featured guests such as Will Ferrell, Bradley Cooper, Roger Federer, Julia Roberts and President Obama. Tickets start at £20 and all proceeds from the evening will go towards supporting Tusk’s work across the African continent.
