Battersea Power Station has been undergoing a pretty big (and spenny) redevelopment, which includes a new glass lift experience where you can shoot up to the top of one of the iconic chimneys, and a bunch of new eateries set to open their doors inside the Grade II-listed power station this autumn. The latest wave of restaurant and cafes have just been released and let’s just say, it’s an interesting mix…
Alongside the 14 restaurants already open in Battersea‘s Circus West Village and the first south-of-the-river outpost of Roti King, the line-up includes Le Bab; Control Room B, an immersive cocktail bar from the team behind Mr Fogg’s and Cahoots; a third site from the pancake peeps Where The Pancakes Are; the first UK spot of big Korean bakery Paris Baguette; Europe’s most popular poke bowl chain Poke House; Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen: and vegan joint Clean Kitchen Club too.
It would have been nice to see some local Battersea names in the mix, but there are still more announcements to come so maybe we’ll see some then. And JKS have a huge new Arcade Food Hall opening there next year too with the promise of exciting new brands, so it’s all go, go, go down in SW8.
