We have to admit it we were gutted when we heard the Bathhouse was closing down, it’s one of our favourite venues in East London, and in terms of decor and location (a church yard) there is nowhere quite like it.
During the last two years, The Bathhouse has become renowned for serving up high-octane glamour to comely sirens and modern day dandies. Many a glamorous patron has descended into the saucy underworld via the winding staircase to a world where pleasures and curiosities collided. Alexa Chung, Agyness Deyn, Paloma Faith, Henry Holland, Kasabian, Nicholas Hoult and even Prince Harry are among the many glitterati to have partied with The Bathhouse’s wild and wicked revellers.
The decadent nightspot takes their last bow, on a high note, this Saturday with The Bathhouse Wake. Join them to toast the good times, get drunk and dance your socks off. And to ease the grief of this sudden loss patrons are invited to move north and make The Baby Bathhouse in Stoke Newington their new home. Because let’s face it Stokie is where it’s at now-a-days!
