Spitalfields fave Crispin is heading central as spin-off Bar Crispin opens in Soho this summer. The natural wine bar will feature a 150-strong list curated by Crispin’s sommelier Stefano Cazzato and it’ll focus on old world and indigenous grape varietals and indie producers. As well as overseeing the list, Stefano will also host monthly wine tasting and food pairing events in the private dining room.
It’s not all about the vino though as Bar Crispin will be open all day long, serving coffee and pastries for breakfast and a restaurant menu for lunch and dinner, with Head Chef Brendan Lee cooking up dishes like native oysters with shallots, anchovy & potato focaccia with salsa verde, beef tartare with smoked egg yolk & puffed wheat berries, flat fish of the day with broad beans & citrus butter, and black garlic ice cream with choc tuile. And if you wanna get in there first, Bar Crispin is running a soft launch with 50% OFF food from 5pm on 15th July – 19th July.
