There’ll be plenty of Cantonese classics too
The team behind dim sum spots Good Fortune Club (in Wimbledon and Ealing) and Tao Tao Ju (in Chinatown) is heading east for its next venture. Banquet 88, opening in St Katharine Docks this May, will have space for 140 covers inside, with a private dining area and great views over the water.
It’s promising a premium Cantonese dining experience with “traditional big table, big menu dining”. We haven’t seen one of the menus yet but there’ll be lots of fresh handmade dim sum, whole Peking duck, roast suckling pig, and prime seafood, so it’ll be perfect for a large family feast.
